Paul and I heard all the rumors that Nicholas Cage had bought a castle close to here. Since our trip to Burghausen, another castle we have been dying to see, was a complete wash out due to the rain. We figured we would give it a try.
Why not everyone else stationed in this area has.
So we made the drive out to Etzelwang to see this Schloss Neidstein. Let me say it wasn't easy. It's not like they have Schloss Neidstein on any map. The main problem is it is buried in some thick woods. Definitely better to try to go find in the winter when the trees are bare.
So we went and saw and spent a little time in the town. The town is actually very delightful with very friendly people. Paul and I plan on making a trip back to Etzelwang here in the next couple weeks once the kids start school again :)
Hopefully it wont rain tomorrow. We have something REALLY special planned for tomorrow :)
