Our Little Brownie has Gone Green

Today marked the day Sydney bridged from Brownies to Juniors. For anyone who has ever been a Girl Scout you know how important this day is. I can still remember the day I, myself, bridged from Brownies to Juniors. This was HUGE!!!

Sydney has only been in Girl Scouts for roughly two years but in those two years she has grown so much. I'm not one to preach on things like this but I can honestly say Girl Scouts has had a profound impact on her life. Girl Scouts is the one place where Sydney truly "fits in". She eagerly takes every task on and exceeds expectations. She also has proven what an amazing salesperson she is. She was quite the little "used car salesman" this year at the PX selling cookies.

So from a former Brownie......

to another....

We were joined as one today during her bridging ceremony to recite the the Girl Scout Promise...

On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law
